Questions:
1. What is the Central Idea for each Speech?
After reading these speeches, it was very easy for me to point out the Central Idea because of how well the Speeches were written. 2. How do the speakers catch attention?
In "The Hidden World of Chili Peppers", the speaker relates her example to the audience which makes the audience feel more comfortable in the speech, and in Medical Robots, the speaker gives an example by telling a story. I really enjoy when speakers give examples and tell stories to catch the audiences attention because it really makes me relate to each speech, and makes me want to listen to what the speech is about.
3. List the previews for each Speech:

4. What type of Organizational Pattern are used for each speech?
In "The Hidden World of Chili Peppers", the pattern is Topical Order because the main points divide the topic into logical subtopics. In "Medical Robots", the pattern is Chronological Order because the main points are following a specific pattern. I personally enjoy when Speeches follow a Topical Order because it is easier for me to follow along with.

"The Hidden World of Chili Peppers" is a great and effective example of an Informative Speech because after reading and listening to this speech in class, I really felt as if I had a better knowledge and understanding of Chili Peppers when the speech was over. She really did a great job in describing different facts about chili peppers and giving us a better understanding of what chili peppers can be used for besides consumption. She really did a great job at teaching the class about Chili Peppers and that is why I feel she had a great informative speech.
2. Choose one Speech: What impressed you about the speech?
In "Medical Robots", what impressed me the most was how great the speaker was at illustrating his points and how his speech made me visualize everything. For example, he started off one paragraph with the word "Imagine", which really put my brain for a spin to actually think about what the situation was like. Also, the speaker described in detail what "light whiskers" were which really made me imagine what they actually looked like, and made me think. Overall, I think that the speaker was great at illustrating points which made me enjoy his speech, and also made me very impressed.
